Breakfast

The Fox Diner in Avondale is a great way to start the morning. The breakfasts are huge and the service is fast and friendly

Lunch

Yo Sushi in South side is a small family owned restaurant. Be sure to sit at the bar where the sushi chefs make you a complimentary crab and cucumber salad.

Dinner

Eleven South at the beach has unique cuisine to appeal to a refined taste. Be sure to have a reservation and a date- it's a great place to eat with someone.

What to Do...

Morning

Take a run near San Marco. There is almost always a 5k going on to join or just make your own path. Be sure to follow up with a hearty breakfast at the Fox.

Afternoon

Shop in little five points for some unique clothing and antique stores. Be adventurous and try on clothes from another era. Pricing can be high here- so if you're looking to buy be sure to bring a card or plenty of cash.

Evening

Have a romantic walk on the beach- start after dinner at 11 south since you are right there. Bring a sweater because it can get a bit chilly out there.

Jacksonville is a laid back tons with tons of great niche neighborhoods. As the largest city in the country (by landmass) there is something for every taste.
