| I took my girlfriend to a Jacksonville weekend trip to have a quality time with her. There was no particular occasion to celebrate but I wanted our Jacksonville trip to be unforgettable, and it was! Among the things lined up to be done during our perfect Jacksonville weekend was shopping, food tripping, night clubbing and more. The first thing I did was to find a place to stay for the weekend. I searched online and found a good hotel. I made a reservation and when we got to the place, it was very very nice. Our room had a Jacuzzi tub and we received a complimentary hot breakfast. We arrived in Jacksonville at 3 pm and thought we have time for shopping before the going out for the evening. We checked out some cool shops like the City Scene Artworks and Booktique. Later that night we went to The Twisted Martini Night Club and Lounge. The lounge areas are very chic as my girlfriend would say. And the drinks? Excellent. It was a night of drinking, dining and dancing. We didn't want to tire ourselves too much so we left The Twisted Martini at 10 pm by taxi back to the hotel. Get a good hotel idea from JacksonvilleMetro.travel. We slept very good because of how tired we were and how comfortable the bed was. We had breakfast at around 7 and it was just what we needed to start the day. At 10 am, we were already at Seventh Wonder Spa for a good massage. We tried the Shirodhara. The treatment was calming and rejuvenating. My girlfriend tried the Pedi Karma or what they call Kansa Vatki. Then we tried the New Aromatics Facial. Very nice. Any guy who hasn't taken advantage of spas is crazy because it is definitely the way to relax. We had plenty of places in Jacksonville to choose from for lunch. We chose Benny's Steak & Seafood. We ate Atlantic Salmon and Pecan Chicken. The food was very tasty and presented nicely. For dessert, we ate Famous New York Cheesecake and Red Velvet Cake. Then we explored Downtown Jacksonville and found so many much to do. Just walking downtown with my girl was perfect. |
