My Perfect Weekend... |
|
| It's always nice to share good and fun moments with the people you truly care for. Be it your family, or your significant other. I've been traveling with my family constantly since I want to expose them to different cultures. But just last week, I had the time of my life when I decided to spend the weekend with my college friends. We were feeling adventurous but were cutting short on budget, so we decided to just drive around Jacksonville. We went first to Kids Kampus. Yes, we felt we were kids again after playing and enjoying the playground. My friend even suggested that we stay longer because we were having so much fun! Too bad we really can't stay long since adults are not allowed to play with the kids. But we got into the fire museum, and man, was it cool seeing those vintage fire trucks and they even gave us an idea about fire fighting. Cool, isn't it? Since we got really tired “playing” at the Kids Kampus, we decided to hit Burrito Gallery for some heavy belly meals. I ordered chicken tacos, and I must say, Jacksonville has the best chicken tacos in the whole wide world. Okay I was exaggerating but the chicken tacos was so yummy and delicious I had to order another one! Another thing that got me hooked at this place is their bar! They serve drinks that are really affordable but really good! To shake off the carbohydrates we had, we decided to head to the zoo. Yes, I really love animals that's why I asked my friends to let me visit the zoo! We went to Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens and I was really fascinated with the Plains of Africa, and the Range of the Jaguar, although the jaguars are kinda scary. We also had fun taking pictures with the animals, they were nice and not frisky during that day, perhaps because of the great weather. It's always fun discovering your hometown, and rediscovering childhood with the perfect set of friends. I'm looking forward to another day with friends here in Jacksonville! |
